Education & Outreach Committee:  With attention to children and families, the Greenway education team brings together diverse interests and skills to help spread awareness of and benefits the greenway will bring our community. This committee tables at events, plans activities for children, guest blogs on our website, gives presentations, plans community events, and finds ways to incorporate environmental awareness, native plant appreciation and play and public art in all that the Greenway does. Contact us if you’d like to join this diverse group of individuals. No experience required.

Fundraising Committee: This action team does more than just ask for money! They write thank you notes, maintain databases, coordinate house parties, write and edit, give presentations, and more. Current activities include planning for the Capital Campaign. Please join us if you’d like to help make this a success. No experience required.

Communications Committee: Responsible for ensuring the look, feel and message of the Northend Greenway are accessible, consistent and of high quality. Communications team is a growing group of volunteer writers, designers, photographers, coordinators, programmers, videographers, editors and more. Please contact us if you’re interested in assisting with marketing and promotions through print, digital and online media.

Design & Technical Committee: Collaborative team that ensures we are building a safe, attractive, accessible, and world-class facility that is in line with the Northend Greenway’s core values. We encourage you to join us if you have experience in one of the following areas: landscape architecture, landscape design, civil and environmental engineering, bicycle and pedestrian planning, complete streets planning/design, handicap accessibility, children with disabilities, urban design, stream restoration.

Landowner & City Relations Committee: Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with landowners along and near the proposed route; working with lawyers and city staff as needed to work through easement processes, and other tasks. Background in zoning, planning, legal aspects, land development, city planning, community organizing, or outreach is desired for this committee. *We are welcoming new members, especially if you are a resident in or around the proposed route.

Finance Committee:  Available opportunities for individuals with background in accounting, bookkeeping, financial planning, and related fields.
